QWOCMAP will premiere 35 films in 5 screenings at our 18th annual international Queer Women of Color Film Festival, June 10-12, 2022.
All screenings wil be held in-person at Presidio Theatre, 99 Moraga Avenue in the Presidio National Park. Visit our Film Festival website for details.
The Festival Focus “Love, Embodied” transmits networks of liberatory intimacy and collective care that traverse time and place. From the pulse of remembrance to plexus of kinship and community, to laughter that quickens to desire and the rhythmic rituals of dance and poetry, these films breathe expansive possibility into love and birth new worlds.
All films are Subtitled for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing and Audio Described for the Blind and Low Vision, and ASL interpretation will be provided along with many other forms of accessibility.

There are lots of FREE tickets available at the door.
There will be a FREE, online Encore Screening of the entire Film Festival afterwards.
COVID Safety
By attending the Queer Women of Color Film Festival, you commit to:
1. Show proof of up-to-date vaccination and boosters.
2. Show proof of negative COVID test results taken within 2 days.
3. Wear a N95 mask indoors at all times.
4. Monitor your health before, during, and after the Film Festival.
5. Be Fragrance Free and smoke free.
Our COVID safety guidelines are designed with high standards for the safety of our Sick & Disabled community and therefore will benefit everyone.
Receptions
Doors open ONE hour before each screening.
Please arrive in plenty of time BEFORE doors open to show proof of vaccinations and boosters AND negative PCR test results taken within 2 days or take a rapid PCR or antigen mobile test on-site at the venue.

When entering the Presidio there is a shift in law, from those of the City of San Francisco and the State of California, to those of the U.S. government.
We understand that a lot of people smoke and use cannabis products for their health and wellbeing. We want to ensure that you can do so safely, which means outside of the Presidio National Park.
The Presidio Theatre is located inside the Presidio National Park and is governed by federal law. Therefore, it prohibits the possession AND consumption, of marijuana/cannabis including vape pens. Federal penalties are harsh. Please consume safely.

There are padded theater seats. There are 8 aisle seats in the orchestra where one armrest can be lifted. There is also other seating without arms for comfort.
